Lim Fong Wei

Lim Fong Wei is a senior correspondent at Lianhe Zaobao's zbNOW (联合早报.现在) with in-depth experience in writing on architecture, design, lifestyle, fashion, creativity and human-interest stories. An all-round and multi-faceted storyteller, Lim is also a screenwriter, fiction author, translator and co-chairperson of the 2018 and 2019 Singapore Creator Awards organised by Lianhe Zaobao. Lim's foray into literary research has garnered noteworthy results both locally and overseas. He has been awarded the 2018 Lee Kong Chian Research Fellowship for his research on Hong Kong writer Liu Yichang's time in Malaya. His recent discovery of Eileen Chang's mother, Yvonne Whang's remaining years in Malaya and UK has been met with great fanfare in the Chinese literary world.
